           D.B. Stock Antique Persian Carpets was established in January of 1985 by Douglas and Helen Stock. For a quarter of a century, Douglas and Helen have been leading specialists in antique Persian and Caucasian rugs and carpets.  Helen and Douglas Stock work closely with a national clientele of discerning individuals interested in furnishing with outstanding antique oriental rugs. The Stock's areas of specialization include antique Persian rugs and carpets of the Fereghan Sarouk, Heriz and Serapi, Bidjar and Mohtasham Keshan types. Persian tribal rugs of the QashQa'i, Afshar, Kurdish and Bakhtiari types, as well as antique Caucasian rugs of the Kazak, Shirvan and Kuba varieties are offered. D.B. Stock Antique Persian Carpets draws a large antique oriental rug clientele from New York and Washington, D.C., in addition to the Boston metropolitan area and other parts of The United States and Europe.

    Helen and Douglas Stock are highly regarded as scholars in their field of antique oriental rugs and have published numerous articles in magazines and trade publications, in addition to having spoken several times at the Textile Museum in Washington D.C.. Douglas serves on the antique rugs and carpets Vetting Committee of the Winter Antiques Show in New York. Since 1991, D.B. Stock Antique Carpets has been a member of the Art and Antiques Dealers League of America, a consortium of 96 of the leading antiques dealers in North America; D.B. Stock Antique Carpets is also a member of La Confederation International des Negociants en Oeures d' Art (The International Confederation of Dealers in Works of Art, generally known as CINOA).

    Helen and Douglas operate their oriental rug gallery in the lovely college town of Wellesley, Massachusetts, located approximately twelve miles West of Boston. D. B. Stock Gallery hours are generally 12-6 P.M. Monday through Saturday, but a call ahead is appreciated as appointments outside the gallery can cause us to be out occasionally during regular hours. We are happy to schedule in home appointments, or appointments in our gallery, for retail clients, designers, and architects outside of our normally scheduled hours. Please visit the ABOUT D. B.
