A fine, Northwest Persian Heriz district rug, probably from the village of Bakshaish. The navy blue "Open Field" contains a terra cotta medallion with camel color pendants. Terra cotta color corner spandrels, with large flowers, and a terra cotta color scrolling vine and flower border frames the field."
